This policy explains how Tagameleon handles information when you use the app, visit this website, or contact support. Tagameleon is an independent app created and operated by Horea Sebastian Crișan.

Information handled by the app

Tagameleon accesses only the photos you select through Apple’s system photo picker. A selected photo can contain embedded metadata such as its date and time, camera or device details, image properties, and GPS location. The app uses this information only to display the metadata and create exports that you request.

Photo contents and metadata are processed locally on your device. Tagameleon does not upload them to a server operated by us, and we cannot access them remotely.

Exports, storage, and sharing

The app keeps selected photos and metadata in memory while you use them. When you create a PDF, XML, CSV, or JSON export, the app writes a file to its temporary app storage. iOS manages the cleanup of temporary files. Copies that you save or share remain wherever you choose to send them and are then controlled by you and the receiving service.

Sharing is initiated by you through Apple’s system share sheet. Tagameleon does not choose the recipient. Exported metadata may include sensitive information, including location, timestamps, and device details, so review selected fields before sharing.

Data we do not collect

The current version of Tagameleon has no user accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking technology. We do not sell personal data or use photo information for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps and websites.

Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you include in your message. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, keep necessary support records, and protect the app from misuse. Please do not send photos or exported metadata unless they are necessary and you are comfortable sharing them. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or to meet legal obligations.

This website

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Like most websites, its hosting provider may process basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the site. Those providers process data under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

Legal basis and your rights

Where data protection law applies, support information and necessary website logs are processed to respond to your request, provide and secure the service, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in maintaining Tagameleon. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Because app photo data is not sent to us, we do not hold a server copy to access or delete.

Children

Tagameleon does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Tagameleon’s features or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
