These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tagameleon app and website. By downloading or using Tagameleon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Provider

Tagameleon is an independent app created and operated by Horea Sebastian Crișan. References to “Tagameleon,” “we,” or “us” in these terms refer to Horea Sebastian Crișan as the app provider.

Licence to use Tagameleon

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use Tagameleon for lawful purposes in accordance with these terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement where it applies. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, rent, interfere with, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your photos and responsibilities

You keep all rights you have in the photos and metadata you use with Tagameleon. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to access, process, export, and share that content, and for complying with privacy, copyright, and other applicable laws.

Photo metadata can reveal sensitive information, including locations, timestamps, and device details. You choose which metadata fields to export and where to share the resulting file. Review exports carefully before sending them to another person or service.

Exports and third-party services

Tagameleon can create PDF, XML, CSV, and JSON files from selected metadata. When you use Apple’s share sheet, the App Store, or another third-party service, that service’s terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for third-party services or for copies of files after you choose to save or share them outside Tagameleon.

Apple

These terms are between you and Horea Sebastian Crișan, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Tagameleon, its maintenance or support, or claims relating to the app, except as required by applicable law or Apple’s own terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the terms relating to their rights.

Ownership

Tagameleon, including its software, design, name, and original content, is owned by Horea Sebastian Crișan and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its branding to you.

Availability and updates

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for security, compatibility, maintenance, or legal reasons. We do not guarantee that Tagameleon will always be available, compatible with every device or operating-system version, or free from errors.

Disclaimer

Tagameleon is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tagameleon displays metadata found in files and does not guarantee that metadata is complete, accurate, authentic, or safe to share. Nothing in these terms limits warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, privacy, profits, or business arising from your use of Tagameleon, exported files, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Termination

You may stop using Tagameleon at any time by deleting the app. Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to Tagameleon or legal requirements. The revised terms will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in the courts available to you under applicable law.
